A Sharing On Prayer February 2012

It seems to me that February is a unique month that surface important happenings that I should not forget or ignore as far as I am concerned. My ordination to the priesthood is one such event that took place in the month of February.

Everyone has his or her own month. I could take a look at the life of Jesus or even the Blessed Mother for whom there would have been months of importance. For Jesus the month of His birth, the month of His passion, death and resurrection stands commandingly important. One could say that for Jesus there was no day that was not important. Every day He was with the Abba. What was of more concern for Jesus than the experience of the Father.

May the Holy Spirit lead us to make every year, month and day, years and months and days, moments of oneness with the Abba. It is only the Holy Spirit who could draw me close to the Abba.
